Target scouting

A maritime engineering Group identified 3 areas for target research (acquisition or partnership). After several unsuccessful internal attempts, the Group decided to seek for external support.

Challenge

Identify targets in several innovation fields, with strong technical constraints, and for which the centers of excellence are located in various regions of the globe.

Solution

A series of interviews with technical experts (client and external), to identify the key issues of each subject. A dedicated scouting unit for a period of 4 months, analyzing around 1,000 companies.

The process resulted in 7 contacts (POC, partnerships) and a critical acquisition, basis for the consolidation of the group’s digital offer
